Bienvenidos a mi blog

Espero disfruteis viéndolas tanto como yo he disfrutado realizándolas .

Algo diferente

Hi Rosa. What a great craftsperson you are! Both the cow and the horse look much happier. You did a very neat job of fixing them. It takes a lot of skill and patience to do this sort of work so you should be proud of yourself,

Nice to know the facts about the cows in Madrid and Dali :)!
It's good to see you busy again with restoring, or creating new things, keep up doing this!
Stay safe, take care, dear Rosa.

Wow! What a treasure, Rosa Maria! You have done a wonderful job of restoring this fascinating horse! And the cow! What a great strengthening method to create a pin for the ear! Now both pieces will have another lifetime and can be appreciated as they should be. Well done!

You've made an excellent job with the restoration of these two special pieces. Especially with the vintage horse no professional could have done it any better. And I've enjoyed to learn about Madrid and the cows. Perhaps you know that in our capital Berlin it's a bear, in Hamburg the popular local figurine of Hummel, the water bringer... but I've never seen a more spectacular version than the Dalí-cow before... ;O)

Rosa, your restoration work is stunning! I was wondering what you are doing with the syringe. Sometimes, when I buy old toys, they have bugs in the stuffing. To get rid of them, I put the toy in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for a month or longer. I'm not sure if it would work for woodworm though.
The horse is creepy and at the same time fascinating. I would have bought it in a flash if I saw one for sale.
The cow is also interesting, and I like the nod to Dahli. A worthwhile restoration and a beautiful piece to display.
